Foot paths
The foot paths of the seven Valleys
The foot paths of the seven valleys, that cross the country side, consist of merely old country roads. They connect villages, hamlets, farms with valleys and hills varying between 250 and 650 meters in altitude. These paths lead you through the hart of this area.
La vallée du Rance, the freshness of its river banks, its quit corners between Plaisance and La Bastide Solages. La vallée du Mousse, breath taking views over the village with its castle of Coupiac. Even more beautiful observation points over the mountains of Lacaune and Lévézou, the valley of the river Tarn from Montclar, St Igest, Brasc and Farret.
Chapelle, Coix Occitanes, monumental brick buildings, the earth in all its beauty, natural treasuries and architecture, between Martrin and St Juéry, and if there are points of resemblance, they are the peace, the silence, but also the beauty of nature that you will encounter on your trail.

The trails
12 very different ways in legth between 5 to 14 km, for every interest, for every bodily fitness. Each path has its unique number and has practical tips, a route description and background information of the area. The route descriptions are also available at the information point in Coupiac and in several stores in each village.

Creation of the trails and its maintenance
The paths are part of the foot paths of les Petites Randonées (P.R.). They are laid out with yellow marks. The maintenance of 100 km of signposted walks gets much attention. A committee is formed that has employees available in each community. A team of Parc Naturel Régional of Grands Causses takes care every year for a optimal condition of the paths.
